The EMBO Installation Grants 2026 is awarded to Dávid Kovács, Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry, Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical School, University of Szeged.
This distinguished funding from EMBO organization support group leaders establishing laboratories in countries participating in the scheme to strengthen the life sciences there.
Dávid Kovács is on of the ten life scientists that have been selected to receive EMBO Installation Grant. The Installation Grants will help David to develop his research project on structural and functional dynamics of the adipocyte proteome. An international collaboration will be facilitated by the Grant, as well as a knowledge transfer in EMBC Member States.
